Queen Anne: city views and receptivity

By Cindy Obi-Njoku

Hello dear reader. On the 17th of July, Lusho and I visited Queen Anne. The bus ride to this neighborhood took a little less than an hour total. Queen Anne is a neighborhood on a hill north of downtown Seattle. It houses a mix of both commercial and residential streets while boasting a lovely view of the Space Needle and Lake Union.

When we got to Queen Anne, we started off on Queen Anne Avenue as the street seemed to house most of the business establishments in the area. Here, we were met with sheer receptivity. We moved around the area without hassle and the people we met were welcoming.

By the time we were done, we had placed four gift subscriptions. When we were done with distribution, we took a tour of Kerry Park.

From the park we got an excellent view of the Seattle skyline and the Space Needle.

After our walk, we headed home.
