Exploring UW main campus

By Cindy Obi-Njoku

Hello dear reader, Cindy here again. On the Friday of our second week, May 31, we visited the University of Washington main campus in Seattle for the first time.

I was enthralled by the mass of beautiful pale pink buildings and flora. On this day, a graduation was held, and we speculated it may have been for a specific faculty. There were lots of families taking pictures with their graduate wards and I remember hearing the word congratulations” more than I had anticipated when I woke up that morning.

We walked around the campus distributing copies to public areas in and out of buildings and I observed that while there were lots of graduates outside, there were a lot of students inside the buildings studying.

All in all, it was a beautiful day on a lovely campus.
