Exploring Fremont: A Windy Day Filled With Art and Adventure!
By Lusho Hambiliki
On Monday, June 3, Cindy and I went to the vibrant and artsy neighborhood of Fremont. It was a very windy day but we still worked really hard.
The streets of Fremont were filled with such good energy. Each street or corner revealed fun sculptures or art making us appreciate what’s around us.
We stopped by the body of water by the Google offices. The view was so beautiful and calming and it was a perfect spot to pause, recharge and reflect before distributing more copies.
We met so many friendly faces as we stopped by various stores and restaurants. The people of Fremont are so kind which made our day better. We were so thrilled to give out four gift subscriptions.
One particularly memorable interaction took place at a cute pizzeria called Tivoli. Cindy and I approached the worker and she was so energetic and intrigued about what we were doing. Her genuine eagerness and interest was so uplifting and she requested more sample copies and accepted a free gift subscription to the monitor.
We enjoyed our time in Fremont exploring the different parts of it and we are looking forward to more days like this filled with unique experiences and awesome interactions with different people.
