Hot day in Lake City

By Cindy Obi-Njoku

Hello, dear reader. Cindy here. On Tuesday, the 9th of June, Lusho and I visited Lake City. It was a very hot day and we tried to stay under shade as much as we could.

On arrival, we noticed that there were not that many places to distribute to, and some of the ones available seemed to be closed or under construction. However, we worked with what we had.

I also noticed more seemingly intoxicated people than in other neighbourhoods we had visited. As always, my curiosity was piqued as to why that is. This, however, was not a deterrent to our work and by the time we were done, we had placed two gift subscriptions.
