Putting Monitors in the Roslyn Cafe

By Cindy Obi-Njoku

On Thursday, July 11, after our stop at Cle Elum, we went to Roslyn.

Lusho and Cindy O put Monitor Weekly sample copies at the Roslyn Cafe, made famous by the 90s TV show “Northern Exposure”

It is a really small historic town so most of the establishments were close by each other.

The people of Roslyn were really receptive to copies, however not so much to subscriptions, so we placed no subscription here. When we were done with work, we had lunch at the Roslyn Mexican Grill. The lunch was satisfying and Lusho and I expressed admiration for their refried beans.

When we were done eating, Lusho and I wanted to drop by the Masonic Lodge in the town, but it seemed closed, so we continued our journey to Seattle.
