Crossing Over: on Bainbridge Island

Last Friday morning, our outreach team headed for Bainbridge Island via the Winslow ferry from downtown Seattle.

They spent Friday in the town of Winslow, near the ferry dock. First they visited the CS Reading Room, then got to work handing out sample copies of the Monitor. They found a record 9 places for Monitor gift subscriptions: several restaurants, a barber shop, and several locations at senior centers. They stayed on the island over the weekend, visited Port Gamble and other areas, and met friends at church (including Tobin, who did outreach with us earlier).

Big thanks to Bainbridge church rep Nancy Fuerst and Sue Anderson for hosting Izzy and Haley.
