2022 Outreach Team Reunion!

It was a special treat to have Haley Hill visit from Portland and come to a Wednesday testimony meeting at Third Church, at which as First Reader I read the “Compass the City” Bible story from the book of Joshua and Jesus sending the disciples out in two’s to spread the word. Since Izzy Marvin and I were also in attendance, we had our whole 2022 team together for the first time since August 2022.

Haley was the first college student to show up for this not-fully defined outreach project for an organization neither Haley nor Izzy had ever heard of. They were both very courageous for accepting the mission of promoting the Monitor Weekly around the Seattle region. They were true pioneers, and they paved the way with style, sass, and spunk.

Both Haley and Izzy just graduated from Principia College, class of 2024. Congratulations, graduates!

And thank you for making our first year of our “Compass the City” program a success. You will both always have a special place in my heart!
