Sunshine and a star in Kirkland

Wow! This week was an amazing outreach week. Bella and Izzy visited so many beautiful places! Kirkland on Thursday, June 8, started off with a bang. Since the travel time to Kirkland took a while, by the time the girls arrived they were starving so they started outreach with lunch. The girls decided to go to one of their favorite lunch spots, Shake Shack, and this is where things got exciting.

Izzy had just finished ordering and noticed this guy walking by which she thought she recognized. She observed him for a few minutes and realized he was a popular social media influencer and actor, Brent Rivera. Izzy had watched him previously and was shocked to see him casually eating lunch in Kirkland! Shaking and a little nervous, Izzy approached Brent and asked if that was who he was and he replied with “yeah! What's up!” Izzy and Brent had a little conversation and then took a picture! Needless to say Izzy was very excited and in disbelief she casually met a celebrity she was familiar with. 

After an exciting lunch the girls started distributing sample copies of The Christian Science Monitor Weekly. Every person the girls came in contact with were friendly and excited about having free sample copies in their stores. The girls placed a total of three gift subscription.

The Kirkland area was a really great place for distribution due to the large number of businesses close by each other. Kirkland is such a cute little town! After the girls received their gift subscriptions and finished distributing sample copies, they headed to the Kirkland Waterfront Park and Marina! This was a gorgeous area on a gorgeous sunny and warm day!

Bella and Izzy sat and appreciated the view then proceeded to go on the doc and bask in the sun and the glory of this gorgeous area. This was an exciting fruitful day of outreach!
