Video replay of Presentation of summer outreach project
Did you miss the big event? On Friday, Aug. 19, we had the grand finale of our "Compass the City" 2022 summer outreach project, at which our outreach workers Izzy Marvin and Haley Hill showed a video they made about the project and we had a lively discussion with the committee members and others who came for the pizza party and presentation. No worries, we've got a video that captures the whole event--all but the taste of the pizza!
Click this link to watch a 40-minute video of the presentation and discussion.
And here's a 3-minute video about the work party on Memorial Day that helped prepare the Seattle office for this project. Big thanks to those volunteers!
Lots of work went on behind the scenes at mission control this summer. Josh Draskovish managed the used book exchange all summer so I could focus on the Monitor outreach project. I couldn't have done this outreach project without him! Thank you Josh! You rock!!!
Josh moved to St. Louis at the end of August, so he won't be working at Joint Literature anymore. Now that he's gone, we need help to keep up with the inflow and outflow of used books, as well as outreach mailings of periodicals. Want to help?
We will miss Haley, Izzy, and Josh at Joint Literature!!! Big thanks to them, and everyone else who participated or supported the summer outreach project in some way.
Committee reps: Scroll down for a brief summary of the summer outreach project you can read at your next church business meeting as a report from your Joint Literature Distribution committee.
I'll be at the Bothell office on Friday afternoons, at least. Come visit sometime!
Cindy
